Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has said that it is hard for Neco Williams to get into the team, as quoted in SI.
What’s the story?
Klopp is a fan of Williams.
The Liverpool manager has said that the 20-year-old right-back is developing under him.
However, the German has said it is hard for the Wales international defender to get into the team.
Why?
Because there are more experienced and better players at right-back for Liverpool at the moment.
Namely Trent Alexander-Arnold and James Milner.

What Jurgen Klopp has said
Klopp said on Williams: “He is pushing for a start, he’s a young player and we are a good football team, it’s not that easy to get into the team.
“We have Trent there, Milner has played there incredibly. Neco I saw for Wales and he did really well offensively. He can push.”
The Liverpool boss added: “Last thing I think about is who could go on loan in the winter. I can understand Robert Page says it makes sense he should play but they can qualify for the World Cup with a lot of players who aren’t first choice. It makes sense Neco is here fighting.
“You have to make sure you sort your problems because if you don’t, you carry those with you at the next club. Neco is developing and improving.”

What should Neco Williams do?
Williams has played more matches for Wales than for Liverpool in the Premier League.
It is very unlikely that the 20-year-old will get to play regularly for the Reds anytime soon.
After all, there are not many right-backs who can play ahead of Alexander-Arnold.
However, in our view, Williams should not leave Liverpool on loan in the January transfer window.
Perhaps in the summer of 2022, but not now.
Working with Klopp and the Liverpool coaches at the AXA Training Centre on a regular basis for the next few months will help Williams.
