Newcastle United continue to be linked with goalkeepers – and Eddie Howe is believed to be a big fan of Fiorentina goalkeeper Bartlomiej Dragowski.

That’s according to Tuttomercatoweb, who claim that Howe has long admired Dragowski even since his days as Bournemouth boss.

The Italian press have called back to Howe’s interest in Dragowski, though aren’t 100% sure Newcastle actually want him.

You can absolutely connect dots to such a move though.

Newcastle may have a host of goalkeepers but they are still being linked with shot-stoppers.

The Sun claim that Newcastle fancy signing Lazio goalkeeper Thomas Strakosha on a pre-contract agreement.

The Daily Mail have also linked Manchester United’s Dean Henderson to Newcastle, with the Magpies seemingly eyeing goalkeepers.

If Howe has a major input on signings – and you would assume he does right now, especially with no director of football in place – then Dragowski could be added to that list.

A Polish international with almost 100 Serie A appearances to his name, Dragowski has impressed with Fiorentina.

The 24-year-old is in talks over a new deal, but the Italian media seem wary of Newcastle moving in for Dragowski down the line.
