Some Everton fans on social media have been reacting after it was reported by The Telegraph that Tottenham want to sign Jordan Pickford.
The goalkeeper has been one of Everton’s better players this season, so, as you can imagine, Toffees fans aren’t best pleased to see him linked with a move away.
It’s never great to lose any player, but losing your first-choice goalkeeper is even more frustrating as it’s usually quite hard to find a competent replacement.
Pickford is one of the best stoppers in the country. After all, he is England’s number one, and if Spurs swoop for him it will be a serious blow for Everton.
The Goodison Park faithful are demanding big money for the 27-year-old, with one fan even touting an £80m fee for the goalie.
It remains to be seen whether or not Pickford does join Spurs, but if he leaves Merseyside he’ll be leaving many Toffees fans gutted.
