Blow for Tottenham Hotspur

Romero is arguably the best centre-back on the books of Spurs at the moment.

The 23-year-old has been playing well for Spurs this season.

The Argentina international moved to Tottenham from Atalanta in the summer of 2021.

The Spurs no. 4 has made six starts and one substitute appearance in the Premier League so far this season.

The youngster has also played twice in the Carabao Cup and two games in the Europa Conference League so far this campaign.

Romero suffered a hamstring injury while playing for Argentina against Brazil during the international break.

Spurs fans will now nervously wait to see for how long Romero is out for.
