Speaking on the Premier League’s YouTube channel, Joe Willock has named former Arsenal man Santi Cazorla as the best player he’s ever played with.

Willock, of course, played with Cazorla at Arsenal and while he didn’t get to spend much time on the pitch with the Spaniard, he says he’s the greatest he’s ever played alongside.

Cazorla was undoubtedly one of the best players in the Premier League in his pomp and Willock seemingly rates him very highly.

What’s been said?

Willock was asked who the best player he’s ever played with was.

“I feel like probably Santi Cazorla man, he was unreal, both feet, crazy, what he could do with a ball was just something I’d never seen before, he was crazy. He was so good man,” Willock said.

Such a talent

The fact that Willock has named Cazorla as the best player he’s ever played with just goes to show how good he is.

Think about some of the players Willock has shared a pitch with. Mesut Ozil, Alexis Sanchez and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang are three that immediately spring to mind, but according to Willock, Cazorla was the best of the bunch.

In terms of raw ability, it’s hard to disagree, the Spaniard had an unreal eye for a pass while he could beat a man with ease and shoot with both feet.

Unfortunately, his body let him down and injuries caused him a number of problems towards the end of his Arsenal career.

However, the 36-year-old is still ripping it up over in Qatar and when all is said and done, he has to go down as an all-time Arsenal great.
