Some Leeds United fans on social media have been reacting after The Athletic reported that Patrick Bamford will once again be unavailable for this weekend’s game against Tottenham Hotspur.

Bamford has been out of action for some time now with an ankle injury and while his initial prognosis wasn’t too serious, it’s been almost two months since we’ve seen the England international play for Leeds.

Understandably, Leeds supporters are rather frustrated about Bamford’s continued absence. After all, the striker is one of the Whites’ most important players and he was their top scorer last season.

Leeds need to be at their very best this weekend against Antonio Conte’s Tottenham, but they may struggle without Bamford in the starting XI.

Rodrigo is likely to start up top this weekend and while he’s been in good form as of late, it doesn’t seem as though United fans are very confident that they’ll be able to cope, with one fan even asking for the game to be postponed.

United supporters are seemingly prepared for the worst after this update and here’s what they’ve been saying on social media…
