The festive period got a lot better as Starbucks is giving away free reusable red cups in participating locations.
The beloved holiday drinks are back and the coffee chain is celebrating this season by gifting freebies to customers in the United States.

The free reusable cup that Starbucks is gifting is a standard grande size (16 oz).
The limited-edition cup is made with 50% recycled content as part of the chain’s goals to reduce waste and features a gift-inspired design with the signature holiday red colour.
Starbucks chief marketing officer Brady Brewer said in a press release: “As we build on our strong start to the holiday season, we’re delighted to bring back our reusable red cup giveaway for the fourth straight year.
“The reusable red cup has become a tradition for customers each holiday season and is a step towards reducing single-use cup waste as we work towards our planet-positive goals.”
How to get a free cup
To get a free cup, customers need to purchase one of the chain’s holiday-themed beverages.
They include: Apple Crisp Macchiato, Caramel Brulee Latte, Chestnut Praline Latte, Hot Chocolate, Irish Cream Cold Brew, Peppermint Hot Chocolate, Peppermint Mocha, Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, Pumpkin Spice Latte, Sugar Cookie Almondmilk Latte, Toasted White Hot Chocolate and Toasted White Chocolate Mocha.
The offer is available in participating stores in the US, including mobile order and pick-up, curbside pick-up and through delivery on Uber Eats, Starbucks added in the press release.
The free cup is available until supplies last.
Starbucks gives a discount too
Starbucks is also giving 10% off when customers bring in their own reusable cups.
The promotion is part of the coffee chain’s target to reduce waste by 50 percent by 2030.
The chain said that the offer is available only in stores for the time being as they are currently testing safe options to allow customers to bring their own cups in drive-thrus.
