Leeds United fans aren’t too keen to see that Tottenham striker Harry Kane has netted a hat-trick for England.
The England captain was back to his best on Friday night as Gareth Southgate’s side eased based Albania during their World Cup qualifier at Wembley.
All season long, Kane has suffered from a lack of form – he has scored one Premier League goal this season.
But with Leeds set to take on Spurs next week, the last thing they wanted was to see the 2020/21 Golden Boot winner back to his best.
One of his goals included him scoring an overhead kick, so whilst they were delighted at what Kane was producing for his country, perhaps it’s a sign of things to come.
It also needs to be remembered that Antonio Conte is now in Tottenham’s dugout, so his arrival has given the club a bit of a boost.
They are unbeaten in his first two games in charge so far – a win in the Europa Conference League and a point at Everton last time out.
And if those positive vibes continue, then Leeds may find that Kane transforms his international form onto the domestic stage.
Whilst Marcelo Bielsa’s side have picked up valuable points of late, they are just three points above the Premier League’s drop zone.
If they lose on Sunday, then they might find themselves in the bottom three, especially if results go against them.
