Birmingham City are fighting to keep hold of young talent George Hall amid interest from Premier League duo Leeds United and Newcastle United.

That’s according to the Daily Mail, who claim that Birmingham are hoping to finalise a professional deal for the midfield talent.

Hall is just 17 but Birmingham clearly have immensely high hopes for him over the coming years.

An England Under-18 international, Hall has attracted interest from Leeds and Newcastle, with both looking to land young talents.

They aren’t alone in the race either, with Brighton and Hove Albion as well as Southampton thought to be keen.

Birmingham won’t consider bids unless they’re huge, and have real hope of keeping Hall at St Andrew’s.

They will thought worry about Leeds raiding them again after the Amari Miller move.

Miller, just like Hall, was being backed for a big future at Birmingham.

However, Leeds swooped in and signed Miller, putting him straight into their developmental ranks.

Miller already has two goals and one assist in 10 Premier League 2 outings for Leeds this season.

Leeds will hope to lure Hall over to West Yorkshire to reunite with Miller, but Newcastle’s new-found riches mean they’re a threat to Leeds’ hopes of a deal and Birmingham’s desire to keep Hall.
