Due to the pandemic, the American state was used to build a set that recreated the mausoleum of Roman emperor Hadrian, because the crew could not travel to Rome.

While filming on location was halted until November, production in Atlanta was allowed to begin a lot sooner in September.

Gadot and Reynolds both wrapped their scenes in October, and the final on-location scenes shot in November included trips to Rome and Sardinia, Italy.
