Aston Villa fans on Twitter think John McGinn is going to take his game to the next level under Steven Gerrard.
Whilst it hasn’t been officially announced yet, it looks like Gerrard will be leaving the Rangers dugout and taking the reigns at Villa Park.
The Telegraph have reported that Gerrard is on the verge of joining Villa after Rangers allowed the Midlands side to talk with their manager.
If he does arrive, then the Scottish Premiership winner will bring a wealth of experience to B6.
From his days managing at Ibrox, where he ended Celtic’s near ten-year dominance last season and going unbeaten all season.
To the pressured environments he used to thrive under during his days as a legendary midfielder.
Many Villa players will be looking to pick his brains out on that training pitch and some fans think McGinn will turn into a different animal under his stewardship.
For Scotland, McGinn just can’t stop scoring goals and producing a number of game-changing moments for his country.
Whilst he has showcased that in Villa colours, but because he has previously played a deeper role under Dean Smith, he hasn’t been able to thrive as much as he would have liked going forward.
But Villa fans can now see him being one of the players that benefit from Gerrard’s imminent arrival.
