Writing in his column for the Yorkshire Evening Post, Tony Dorigo has been waxing-lyrical about Adam Forshaw after his return from injury.
The midfielder has faced almost two years on the sidelines at Leeds, but on Sunday, he returned to the starting XI.
You’d usually expect a player returning from such a long-term injury to have a few teething problems upon his return, but Forshaw took to the pitch like a duck to water.
Indeed, the midfielder looked brilliant against Leicester and Dorigo was blown away by his performance.
What’s been said?
Dorigo had nothing but good things to say about Forshaw.
“For him to show that kind of form is remarkable, it says a lot about his character. You know he’s a good lad about the place anyway, but don’t forget he came to a Championship side and here he is two years down the line from injury, playing superbly in the Premier League,” Dorigo wrote.
“The reason it stood out so much is that his performance is what we’ve been crying out for. We haven’t been able to control the midfield as we would like in many a game this season.
“Another option to Kalvin Phillips helps the team and helps Kalvin.”

Massive boost
Having Forshaw back fit and firing is a massive boost to Leeds.
The Whites’ midfield has been a real problem this season. Rodrigo has been forced to play up front, Mateusz Klich hasn’t looked at his best while Stuart Dallas has also regressed.
However, Forshaw is now back and it looks as though he could play a key role for Bielsa’s side for the remainder of the campaign.
