BTS V has proven his global dominance yet again in a new Wikipedia chart where he outranked every individual male Korean singer for the month of October.

The 26-year-old Grammy-nominated South Korean singer who recently made headlines after making a world record with ‘Sweet Night‘, his first K-drama original soundtrack as the highest-streamed K-drama OST of Spotify, Korean media reported yet another crown for the global icon BTS V.

BTS V outranks every Korean male singer on Wiki rankings

Kim Taehyung aka BTS V garnered 274,103 views topping in the official ranking of the Wikipedia Wikiproject Korean Page (English version) for the month of October 2021.

For the duration of 2021-10-01 to 2021-10-31, Wikipedia’s WikiProject-Korea ‘Popular Pages’ record shows a whopping amount of 104,325,764 views in total for the most famous Korean figures in Wikipedia.

In the list, BTS V ranked 28th, highest among the individual Korean male singers while BTS as a group ranked 9th for October with 656,100 views. Moreover, a Korean media report noted that BTS V had earlier topped the personal page views of Korean celebrities chart for three months in a row from June to August.

On top of that, the report also reveals that BTS V has recorded the most pageviews for a K-pop individual in the first half of the year. Along with that, the ‘Snow Flower’ crooner also boasts the highest number of views among K-pop stars with a cumulative total of 21.75 million pageviews worldwide from July 2015.

The English version of Wikipedia shows the incessant rise of global interest for the Bangtan member who has been a crowd attractor since the group’s debut.

Kim Taehyung ‘Scenery’ surpasses 200 million streams on SoundCloud, marking another impressive feat

Kim Taehyung’s song ‘Scenery,’ his first solo track published on January 30, 2019, has crossed an important landmark amassing 200 million streams on SoundCloud.

The track is very close and personal to all Kim Taehyung fans worldwide. It allowed fans to take a sneak peek at BTS V’s individual artistry. Along with that, the song was described as a ‘celebration of memories’ by the singer.

The Billboard charting singer introduced the song in the BTS documentary saying, ‘By looking at photographs, I can reminisce about my memories, the song is saying, this is how I spent my youth. I want many more moments like this. And I will continue to capture them.”

He added, “Scenery is about my hobby, showing the real Kim Taehyung, the true me to Army. It’s not about V onstage but it’s more like, “This is how I am offstage.”

To reinforce the importance of memories, the masterpiece ‘Scenery’ also incorporates the sound of a film camera rolling.

Celebrating Kim Taehyung’s landmark record, a fan gushed, “Scenery used was one of the best songs Taehyung made and it’s one of my comfort songs. The melody and Taehyungs angelic voice being put together to make this masterpiece, 200M BEAUTIFUL STORIES FOR V!”

A second fan noted, “scenery has now surpassed 200 million streams on SoundCloud! A self-written and self-composed beautiful song with the most resonating lyrics and the euphonious vocals of Taehyung’s!”
