Dalvin Cook and his former girlfriend Gracelyn Trimble are in the news for accusing each other of physical assault.

The woman in question has allegedly filed a lawsuit against the Minnesota Vikings’ running back, accusing him of giving her a “concussion” and “leaving a scar” on her face, according to Star Tribune.

Who is Gracelyn Trimble?

Gracelyn is reportedly 29 years old.

The outlet that first reported her lawsuit against the Vikings’ player notes that she is currently based in Italy. As for her profession, Dalcin’s former girlfriend is Sgt. 1st Class in the U.S Army.

Furthermore, a tweet by reporter Rochelle Olson states that Gracelyn is 5’5″. She has also shared pictures of Gracelyn that were allegedly used in the lawsuit filing.

At the time of writing, none of Gracelyn’s social media accounts, including Twitter and Instagram, are active.

What happened between Dalvin Cook and his ex-girlfriend?

The Vikings running back and the Sgt were reportedly in an on-again and off-again relationship.

His lawyer, David Valentini, told in a statement, “While Mr. Cook and Sgt. Trimble had a short-term relationship over several months, she became emotionally abusive, physically aggressive and confrontational, and repeatedly attempted to provoke Mr. Cook.”

The lawsuit reportedly states that the duo met in 2018 and describes their relationship as “rocky”.

Furthermore, it notes that Gracelyn went to David’s home in Minnesota to break up with him and get her “things from his Inver Grove Heights home” when the alleged altercation broke.

Dalvin Cook’s rep claims the player was the victim

Meanwhile, in a separate statement released by Dalvin’s attorney, the player is identified as the victim in the dispute.

“We are confident a full disclosure of the facts will show Mr. Cook did nothing wrong and any injury Sgt. Trimble may have sustained that evening was the result of Sgt. Trimble’s own unlawful conduct, ” Valentini wrote.

Vikings also shared a statement regarding the lawsuit against its player and said that they are looking into the matter after notifying the NFL.
