Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have once again been tipping Dilan Markanday for big things after he was nominated for the PL2 Player of the Month award.
It’s not hard to see why Markanday has been nominated for this award. He’s been in fine form this season, netting 10 goals in as many games and catching the eyes of almost every Spurs supporter.
The youngster is yet to make his Premier League debut, but it seems as though it may just be a matter of time before he gets a shot under Antonio Conte.
Spurs’ frontline could certainly do with an injection of energy at the moment. After all, they’ve scored just nine goals this season, and Markanday would be able to bring something different to this side.
Fans are seemingly convinced that Markanday will be an absolute star, with many supporters dubbing him a generational talent, while one fan even said that he’s better than Phil Foden.
