Chris Sutton has taken to Twitter to hit out at Jürgen Klopp for the way he spoke to Rob Nothman, after Liverpool suffered a 3-2 defeat to West Ham.
What’s the story?
Well, the Liverpool boss was far from happy after the Reds threw their 25-game unbeaten run away at the London Stadium.
Klopp was clearly in a bad mood while speaking to BBC 5 Live Sport‘s Nothman, and was quite rude to the interviewer.
When Nothman asked the German if he felt Aaron Cresswell should’ve been sent off for a challenge on Jordan Henderson, Klopp said: “My God, I’m not your puppy. Hopefully you have an opinion of yourself.”
It’s not the first time Klopp has been frosty after a defeat, so Nothman perhaps expected such an exchange.
Nevertheless, most managers don’t do this after a defeat, and Klopp needs to find a way to grow out of it – it’s not a good look for him, to say the least.
Sutton clearly thinks Klopp embarrassed himself – you can see his tweet about the £133,000-a-week man in full below.
Liverpool vs West Ham was a shambles

Klopp also took his frustration out on Nothman for not knowing which incident he was referring to for West Ham’s first goal.
As you will have seen, some felt Alisson was impeded by Angelo Ogbonna for the opener, which ended up going down as an own goal for the Brazilian.
In our view, Klopp should be angry with his players, not Nothman, for failing to give the Brazilian more protection.

All the Reds had to do was stick someone between Alisson and the West Ham player, whether it was Michail Antonio, Ogbonna or Kurt Zouma.
David Moyes has made the east Londoners incredibly good at set-pieces, and Klopp should’ve found a way to make Alisson perform less like Simon Mignolet or Loris Karius against the Hammers.
