Episodes 1 and 2 of Yellowstone’s third season – both directed by series co-creator Taylor Sheridan – aired yesterday (Sunday, November 7) on Paramount Network at 8pm CT, as a special double bill.

Viewing figures for the latest episodes of the “wildly popular” series, starring Kevin Costner, Wes Bentley and Kelly Reilly among others, haven’t been released yet, but the show has seen its viewership steadily increase – the season 3 finale broke the 5 million mark.

Yellowstone season 4 episode 3 release date and time

The third episode of Yellowstone’s fourth season, titled All I See Is You, will air on November 14 at 8pm ET. It will be episode number 32 overall.

The rest of the season is expected to continue to play weekly, with the final episode on January 2 – although this hasn’t been confirmed by the network.

Paramount Network confirmed that there would be a fourth season before the premiere of season 3. But it is not yet clear whether or not there will be a season 5.

The network has been tight-lipped regarding what to expect from each episode, although the names of every episode of season 4 have been revealed.

After episode 3 (All I See Is You) will come Winning Or Learning, Under A Blanket Of Red, I Want To Be Him and Keep The Wolves Close.

Carter Matt has speculated that the upcoming episode’s title has “some sort of romantic connotation”. “The hope is that we can see the ranch start to recover from the chaos of the season 3 finale / season 4 premiere.”

Season 4 episodes 1 and 2 recap

TVLine called the first two episodes of season 4, which premiered together in a special two-hour event exclusive to Paramount Network, “spectacular”.

In the episode, John Dutton uses his own blood to write a message on the ground identifying his shooter’s vehicle. Meanwhile, Kayce uses a grenade to distract his assailants. Beth, for her part, survives the Schwartz & Meyer bomb blast.

John wakes up in hospital to see Beth, mostly recovered; Beth guides a 14-year-old kid through saying goodbye to his father, and later makes a promise to kill Jamie personally, for not visiting his father in the hospital; and Rip throws a rattlesnake in Roarke’s face, causing him to succumb within seconds.

And that was just episode 1!

Twitter users react to Yellowstone season 4 premiere

Audiences have acknowledged Tate, aka “this little baddie”, who “took out” (read: shot and killed) the assassin who invaded the Dutton house and attacked his mother, Monica.

Meanwhile, others have reacted well to Beth’s character developments. She is apparently “the most dangerous” she’s ever been.

And one user described the first 15 minutes of the season 4 premiere as “the most exciting 15 min. of television I’ve ever seen”.

The show’s cinematography, too – it is shot at the Chief Joseph Ranch in Darby, Montana – has earned praise.
