Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette has decided to leave the Gunners and join Atletico Madrid, according to La Razon.
What’s the story?
La Razon have reported that Lacazette has decided against signing a new contract with Arsenal.
The France international striker is out of contract at the Gunners at the end of the season.
The 30-year-old striker has decided to leave Arsenal on a free transfer next summer.
The report has added that Lacazette already knows his next club.
It is defending La Liga champions Atletico.
Diego Simeone’s side are also interested in Karim Adeyemi, but the Arsenal striker will be a cheaper option than the RB Salzburg star.

Alexandre Lacazette’s Arsenal exit seems inevitable
It does seem unlikely that Lacazette – who earns £182,063 per week as salary (Spotrac) – will stay at Arsenal beyond the summer of 2022.
After all, if the striker was going to sign a new deal at the Gunners, he would have done so by now.
What is important now is that the striker does well and stays committed to Mikel Arteta’s team.
And given the striker’s recent performances and conduct on the pitch, it appears that he is giving his all for the club.
That’s all we can ask of any footballer in his situation.
