Richard Foster has raved about Rangers star Ianis Hagi on BBC Sport for his performance for Steven Gerrard’s side against Brondby IF.
The former Rangers defender was impressed by the impact that Hagi made after coming on as a substitute for the Gers this evening.
Rangers played out a 1-1 draw with Brondby away from home in Europa League Group A.
Foster said about Hagi on BBC Sport: “Ianis Hagi has come on to the park and he’s looked like he knows what this means, what this result means. He’s been in top form since coming on.”
How did Ianis Hagi play?
Hagi did not start the match this evening, but the Romania international attacker came on as a substitute in the 56th minute.
The 23-year-old, who can play as an attacking midfielder or as a forward, combined with Ryan Kent to score in the 77th minute.

The Romania international took one shot and it ended in goal, had a pass accuracy of 79%, won one header, took 23 touches, and put in one cross.
Hagi, the son of Romanian legend Gheorghe Hagi, has scored one goal in seven Scottish Premiership appearances for Rangers so far this season.
The youngster has also scored one goal in three Europa League matches for Rangers this campaign.
Rangers are now third in Europa League Group A with four points from four matches, level on points with second-placed Sparta Prague.
