Tottenham Hotspur could part ways with boss Nuno Espirito Santo after Saturday’s defeat to Manchester United.

That’s according to The Telegraph, who claim that Daniel Levy is furious with the manner of Saturday’s defeat.

Talks are now being held to determine whether Nuno’s short time as Tottenham boss ends abruptly.

The Athletic back up those claims, with Nuno’s Tottenham future now hanging by a thread.

Tottenham were comfortably beaten 3-0 by United without even having a shot on target.

That is five defeats from 10 Premier League games this season, whilst Tottenham’s brand of football rather dull under Nuno.

Add in poor Europa Conference League displays and it’s no shock that Tottenham fans are fed up of Nuno already.

Who could replace Nuno at Tottenham?

The Daily Mail report that an early contender for the job is Porto boss Sergio Conceicao.

That would be a third Portuguese manager in a row, after Jose Mourinho and Nuno.

Conceicao has won more than 71% of his games in charge of Porto since leaving Nantes in 2017.

Over his managerial career, Conceicao has won 233 of his 410 games – a win rate just shy of 57%.

Conceicao has won two league titles with Porto and ironically replaced Nuno at the Estadio do Dragao, so this could be deja vu.
