Joe Hart has definitely landed on his feet since leaving Tottenham Hotspur to join Celtic
It has been quite a long time since Hart found himself as an integral member of any squad.
But the former Tottenham goalkeeper is certainly doing the business up North.
Hart was brilliant again on Wednesday as Celtic won 3-1 at Hibernian.
Two massive saves from one-on-one positions – one in each half – ultimately allowed the Hoops to move two points behind top-of-the-table Rangers.
Tottenham sold the 34-year-old for £1 million after Fabio Paratici came in as managing director in North London this past summer.
And Tam McManus, a well-known pundit up in Scotland, thinks that Celtic have found a stunning signing.
Home
It’s nice to see Hart doing better than he did in England, really.
His most recent Premier League appearance came in December of 2018 and considering he was with top-flight English clubs since then, it sums up his struggles.
The former Manchester City star didn’t play outside the cup competitions during his year-long spell at Spurs and in total, was unused substitute for 67 Premier League games in a row during his time at the Lilywhites and Burnley.
As mentioned, it’s been years since Hart was a vital part of any squad but he’s certainly found a home for himself in Glasgow and long may it last.
