Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has told Sky Sports that he thinks midfielder Tyler Morton needs to get in the gym in order to build up his physique.
The Reds beat Preston North End 2-0 on Wednesday night to book their place in the last eight of the Carabao Cup.
Takumi Minamino and Divock Origi were both on the scoresheet as Liverpool eased their way into the quarter-finals.
Big names like Virgil van Dijk, Trent Alexander Arnold and Mohamed Salah weren’t needed and had the night off with Liverpool’s fringe and young players getting a chance.
One of them was midfielder Morton, who ran the show in front of the Liverpool back four.
Morton, 18, was superb at recycling possession and getting Liverpool moving forward, showing he can be a quality holding midfielder moving forward.
Klopp wants Liverpool teenager Morton to bulk up
Morton is young and still developing as a player, but Liverpool boss Klopp wants to see him develop in another way.

Speaking to Sky Sports after the full-time whistle at Deepdale, Klopp suggested that he wants Morton to work hard in the gym.
Klopp admitted that he has told Morton this too, believing he needs to be sent directly to the gym.
Klopp feels that Morton has an ‘outstanding’ brain, but needs to bulk up and ‘get a body’ in order to become a truly ‘brilliant’ player.
“You can see Tyler Morton, I told him now we pretty much have to send him directly to the gym now,” said Klopp. “Because if he gets a body, he’s a brilliant footballer. There’s obviously some things to come physique-wise, but the football brain is outstanding,” he added.
