Rangers managed to fight back to land a 2-2 draw against Aberdeen on Wednesday night, but Kieran Tierney was loving the goal from ex-Celtic pal Scott Brown.

The Dons took a 2-0 lead at Ibrox with Christian Ramirez opening the scoring before Brown found the net.

Brown just had to score, didn’t he? A Celtic legend heading to Ibrox as an Aberdeen player, it just had to happen.

Brown got himself on the end of a Dylan McGeouch corner, during a diving header into the net.

It looked like Aberdeen would claim a famous victory, but Rangers hauled themselves back in.

Alfredo Morelos headed Rangers back into it before the Gers were given a late penalty for a foul on Fashion Sakala. James Tavernier stepped up to score, rescuing a 2-2 draw.

Brown was synonymous with Celtic for many years, and former teammate Tierney was loving his goal.

The Arsenal left back grew up as a Celtic fan, so it’s no surprise to see him enjoying Brown’s strike.

With Brown taking to Instagram to state that he enjoyed finding the net against Rangers, Tierney simply stated that it was ‘class’.

Both players may have departed Celtic, but it’s clear that they still have green and white in their blood.
