Speaking on Vibe With Five, Anton Ferdinand has been discussing Declan Rice and his recent form for West Ham.
Rice has established himself as one of the best midfielders in the country over the past 18 months or so, and somehow he’s still getting better and better.
Rice was one of the stars of Euro 2020, but he’s only gone from strength to strength since then, leading West Ham to a place in the top four after an incredibly bright start to the season.
He’s caught the eyes of many a fan and Anton Ferdinand has also been very impressed by the midfielder.

Ferdinand gave Rice a glowing review.
“Obviously, Declan Rice, for me, his attitude and his attributes are fantastic. For all of the hype he’s getting and for all the talk around him moving. His levels have gone up, he hasn’t stayed the same his levels have gone through the roof and that’s a testament to him as a person. I will say, moving isn’t always the best thing, sometimes you’re best off staying put where you’re loved,” Ferdinand said.
The sky is the limit
Rice is one of the most mature footballers in the Premier League, so it’s easy to forget that he’s just 22 years old.
The England international still has so much room to grow and so much left to learn in this game, and that’s a scary prospect.
Rice is already one of the best players in the Premier League and if he continues to improve at this rate it may not be long before we’re talking about him as one of the best footballers on the planet.
