Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to react after Paul Pogba called out The Sun for posting ‘big lies’ about him and Ole Gunnar Solskjær.
What’s the story?
Well, you can understand why the Liverpool fans have reacted to this.
After Pogba suffered a 5-0 defeat to Jürgen Klopp’s men, The Sun wrote that he had shelved contract talks and also ignored Solskjær after the loss.
Pogba has now called that story out as fake, in a move which has sparked a reaction from Liverpool fans.
As you’ll know, The Sun is effectively blacklisted on Merseyside after they blamed supporters for the Hillsborough tragedy back in 1989.
One fan said ‘go on Paul lad’ in support of the £89m man.
For Liverpool fans to be supporting a Manchester United player speaks volumes about just how much they detest The Sun.
Liverpool cause huge mess for Pogba and Manchester United

Things were already a bit unstable at Old Trafford, but Liverpool’s 5-0 win on Sunday has plunged the Red Devils into chaos.
There are stories just like the one Pogba rubbished coming out on a near daily basis, and it’s become a bit of a circus for Liverpool’s bitter rivals.
There is anger from supporters at the Board, and also at Solskjær, while players have been criticised too after one of the worst results in Manchester United’s history.

With Liverpool now firmly back on their perch, those at Anfield are surely taking great joy in causing more unrest over at Old Trafford.
With a 5-0 win over Watford and a 3-2 victory against Atlético Madrid preceding that hammering, it was arguably the best week of Klopp’s reign.
For now, let’s see what the Liverpool fans on Twitter have been saying about Pogba’s tweet…
