Spurs suffered another Premier League defeat as West Ham breezed past Nuno Espirito Santo’s side. And a stat from the game really highlighted how poor Tottenham were on the day.

As per OptaJoe on Twitter, the north London side didn’t attempt a single shot during the second half. Making it the third time Spurs have failed to record a shot in the second half of a Premier League match since the start of last season.

Moreover, Tottenham have achieved this unwanted stat more than any other side in the Premier League. Given their attacking quality with Harry Kane and Heung-min Son, it is a damning revelation for Spurs.

Indeed, West Ham were simply too much for Spurs on the day. With Tottenham somehow looking uninterested despite none of the players featuring midweek in the UEFA Europa Conference League.

The loss to West Ham made it four London derby defeats this season for Spurs in the Premier League. The result also put Tottenham in a precarious position in the standings.

With Manchester United coming up next for Nuno’s men, there’s a real chance that unfavourable results could see Spurs slide down the table following this result against West Ham.
