Naby Keita has sent a six-word reaction to Liverpool’s demolition at Manchester United tonight.
Mohamed Salah took his total for the season to 15 goals in all competitions following a sublime hat-trick in the 5-0 win at Old Trafford.
Salah scored two first-half goals – and created another for Keita’s opener – and then secured the match ball early in the second half.
But it was Keita who got the scoring underway after only five minutes.
Here’s how the former Leipzig midfielder reacted on Instagram:
The Guinea international has established himself as a huge player for Liverpool in recent weeks, evident by the fact he kept his place in Jurgen Klopp’s first XI.
But Klopp – and Reds fans – are now sweating over the midfielder’s fitness.
Keita was stretchered off early in the second half following a rash studs-up challenge from Paul Pogba, which ultimately earned him a red card.
The German manager revealed at full time that it’s too early to comment on the severity of the problem.
But Klopp did confirm that Keita was in a lot of pain.
The 26-year-old didn’t touch on his condition in the post-match reaction on social media, but hopefully for his sake the injury isn’t too bad.
This is a player who’s been dogged by fitness problems for most of his three-year spell at Anfield.
And it would be devastating for him and Liverpool if just when things are going great, he’s summoned back to the treatment room.
