Brazil international winger Raphinha suffered a bad injury in the second half.

The star had to be substituted.

Leeds head coach Bielsa has said that Phillips will be ready to start soon after recovering from an injury.

The Argentine has said that he does not yet know about Raphinha’s situation.

Bielsa told BBC Sport: “With Raphinha, we don’t have the diagnosis yet. Phillips spent three weeks without playing and he is healthy but has not got match fitness yet.

“But we think he will quickly be in condition to start. Today would have been far too quick and not prudent.”

Encouraging news for Leeds fans

Wolves are a good team, and a draw with them even at home is not a bad result for Leeds.

Phillips is one of the best midfielders in the Premier League, and the 25-year-old is a key figure at Leeds.

In our view, it is very encouraging to hear Bielsa sound so optimistic about Phillips.

Leeds are missing a number of key players through injury, such as Patrick Bamford, Luke Ayling and Robin Koch.

There is really no direct replacement for Phillips in the team.

Well, not of that quality anyway.
