Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Harry Winks has told Sky Sports that he is finding his situation at the club difficult.
The England international has said that not getting enough minutes at Spurs is a problem for him.
Although the 25-year-old is committed to Spurs, the midfielder has said that he will have a conversation in due time over his future.
Harry Winks opens up
Winks told Sky Sports: “Listen, I love Tottenham, I’ve always made that clear, but I want to play regular football. The only way to play your best football and get momentum is when you’re playing regularly.
“I’m giving my all for the club, of course I am. They’ve stuck by me, I’ve stuck by them, and I want to play for Tottenham. But it is difficult when you’re only getting matches here and there. Confidence is low and you don’t get that run of games.
“I’m not thinking that far ahead. I’ve got a lot of games left to go to try and fight for the club. It’s important we all stay in the same mindset, the same thought process and we see.
“There’s a long way to go, still two months to go [until January] and it’s about knuckling down, working as hard as I can and having no regrets.
“When the time is right I’ll have a conversation but right now it’s important that the team and manager focus on the next game and don’t get any distractions from me.”

Should Harry Winks leave Tottenham Hotspur?
Winks struggled for playing time under Jose Mourinho last season, and now the midfielder is a squad player under Nuno.
The Tottenham no. 8 has made one start in the Premier League so far this season.
Winks made nine starts in the league last season.
In our view, the midfielder should seek a move away from Spurs in the January transfer window, perhaps on loan.
We know how good Winks can be.
If the Englishman cannot get a run of games, then it is going to be hard for him to play to the best of his ability.
We cannot ignore that.
Newcastle United have been linked with Winks.
A move to St. James’ Park could revive the career of a player who was valued at £40 million by Tottenham in September 2021 (The Times).
