Chris Sutton has said on BT Sport 3 (11pm, October 21, 2021) that Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos needs to improve his attitude.

The former Cetlic striker made the comments about Morelos after watching the Rangers striker in action against Brondby IF in the Europa League last night.

The 25-year-old striker started the match and played for 71 minutes.

Rangers won 2-0.

Morelos did not score.

Sutton said about Morelos on BT Sport 3 (11pm, October 21, 2021): “I think it’s attitude with him.

“I think he needs to knuckle down, he needs to train harder, he needs to get himself in better conditions, and then he will be a happier player and Steven Gerrard most certainly will be. He certainly has so many good assets, and goalscoring is one of them.”

Alfredo Morelos needs to step up

We know how good Morelos is and how important he is to Steven Gerrard’s Rangers team.

However, the striker is not doing well at the moment.

In our view, the Colombia international striker needs to step up his game.

Just look at his stats.

The Rangers no. 20 has made seven starts and one substitute appearance in the Scottish Premiership so far this season.

The 25-year-old has scored two goals and provided two assists in those games.

Morelos has made two starts and one substitute appearance in the Europa League for the Gers so far this campaign.

We think that Morelos will eventually come good, but he does need to step up his game.
