Arsenal talent Bukayo Saka has been cleared to play against Aston Villa on Friday and is expected to be in Mikel Arteta’s starting XI.

That’s according to a report from The Sun, who claim that Saka has received clearance from Arsenal’s medical team to play.

It’s a quick turnaround from Monday’s draw with Crystal Palace to Friday’s game with Aston Villa, but Saka may just make it.

James McArthur’s wild kick on Saka meant he had to be substituted at half time on Monday.

Arsenal featured real damage that could have kept him out into November, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.

Saka update a massive boost for Arsenal if true

Sky Sports claimed on Wednesday that Saka missed training as he was still receiving treatment.

That may mean this new report needs to be taken with a pinch of salt, but it’s encouraging if true.

Saka is one of Arsenal’s most talented players, and they absolutely need him in the team if they’re to beat Villa.

Saka may not be 100% right now, but there are more than 24 hours to go until kick off at the Emirates Stadium.

Mikel Arteta will be hoping to build Saka up ahead of the game, giving Arsenal a much-needed boost after that drab second half against Palace on Monday.
