Aston Villa fans are delighted with the news that Leon Bailey, Bertrand Traore and Keinan Davis are back in training for the trip to Arsenal on Friday night.

The attacking trio have been out for a number of weeks, with Villa fans even more pleased that Bailey and Traore could feature at the Emirates.

Injuries have hampered the duo this season and prevented them from trying to put a consistent number of minutes together.

But ahead of the showdown against Arsenal, this is the update Dean Smith provided to the Villa faithful.

Matty Cash is also back in training, after he went off injured late in the second half of Villa’s 3-2 defeat to Wolves last time out.

Villa did the double over Arsenal last season and they will be hoping to cause more havoc tomorrow night.

But they go into that game as wounded animals after shooting themselves in the foot in one of the worst possible manners.

Villa were leading 2-0 against Wolves going into the final ten minutes of their weekend Midlands showdown.

Yet, they ended the game with zero points, in what was one of the worst collapses in Villa’s recent history.

But now the likes of Bailey and Traore are back, and the Villa faithful will want to see them feature.

Given their lack of minutes and sharpness, they aren’t going to start, but Smith will still have that extra firepower to choose from the bench.

The last time Bailey played, he was making his debut for Villa and in a 20-minute spell, he assisted, scored, got a yellow card and then had to go off injured.

Now the Jamaica superstar is back and he will be looking to feast on Arsenal this time.
