Nuno Espirito Santo has claimed that ‘a lot of things have changed’ with Tanguy Ndombele at Tottenham, as he told Sky Sports News (19/10/21 at 6:25 pm).
The Tottenham boss claimed that Ndombele is ‘so talented’ and he is someone who is now ‘improving’.
In the summer, things were a lot different for the ball-carrier because there were the suggestions that he wanted to leave Spurs, as reported by the Times.
He wasn’t part of Nuno’s plan from the get-go, but it’s all so different now for Tottenham’s record signing, who has seemingly managed to turn things around again – that has been said before.
After equalising for Spurs against Newcastle at the weekend during their 3-2 win, Ndombele is hitting some serious form.
And Nuno lauded the Frenchman for putting himself back in the picture in North London, but made it clear there is still a lot more to come.
“A lot of things have changed,” said Nuno. “I always said from the beginning. I can’t go and say all the things that happened.
“We are aware that since Tanguy commit himself to the club and the team. He’s so talented.
“We have to be patient. He is improving. He’s playing and doing his job well. But we have to be patient because I believe that Tanguy has a lot to give to us.”

The issue with Ndombele is that he has been here before, he needed a kick up the backside under Jose Mourinho, which worked and he got his engine going.
But it wasn’t before his early struggles under Mauricio Pochettino and when Mourinho initially arrived.
And once again, he is seemingly walking down that same path, where he has to prove himself again, this time under Nuno.
It seems to be going well now, but the issue is the lack of consistency he has been showing since Spurs paid top dollar for his talents.
