Too Hot To Handle star Harry Jowsey has landed in big trouble after an audio of him using a homophobic slur while referencing James Charles on his podcast went viral.

Little did Harry know that an episode of his podcast Tap In would be uploaded to streaming platforms without being edited. And he just so happened to have used a very offensive slur against the LGBTQ+ community in that one.

What did Harry Jowsey say about James Charles?

A new episode of Tap In dropped on Tuesday, October 19. Naturally, many fans tuned in all excited for some hot tea. However, eight minutes into the podcast, the reality star and social media hunk began talking about the internet’s beloved makeup guru, James.

Harry claimed that the YouTube star had made advances on him. He blatantly says, “James Charles is trying to f*** me … the makeup artist.”

Clearly, the person Harry was talking to didn’t know who James was. Strange, but ok!

“You don’t know who he is? Just some f****t,” Harry says laughing.

The Too Hot To Handle hunk then went on casually talking about other things, clearly under the impression that the slur would be edited out.

However, it appeared in the 40-minute original episode, which was taken down as quickly as it was put up. The newly edited version includes only 27 minutes.

‘Too Hot To Handle’ star issues an apology

Naturally, many fans had already heard that part of the podcast before it was deleted. They blasted the reality star for his offensive comment. When the situation got too hot to handle for Harry (pun intended), he took to his socials and posted an apology video.

Harry starts by saying, “I’m deeply embarrassed that I used such an offensive term so casually in conversation.”

He further claimed that he had already spoken to James privately before making the video. He goes on to say how he wants to turn this into a learning experience.

“I also want to sincerely apologize to the entire LGBTQ+ community who I wholeheartedly support,” the star said.

Harry’s use of the slur was a shock to many fans as the reality star had previously shown a lot of support to the LGBTQ+, especially the trans community.

He showed support to makeup artist and singer Nikita Dragun. In the artist’s debut single called “D*ck”, Harry is seen “hooking up” with Nikita.

He also spoke about their fling on a podcast interview claiming, “For me, it’s just like hooking up with another girl because I honestly see trans women as women. I don’t see it as a big deal.”

Fans slam reality star over ‘homophobic’ slur

Leave it on fans to call out their favourite stars’ misguided actions. Many of Harry’s followers took to Twitter and didn’t shy away from slamming his actions.
