Ruby Rose has taken to Instagram to speak out about her experience on the set of Batwoman, more than a year after her departure from the show in May 2020.
Rose uploaded several slides of text onto her Instagram story which was addressed to showrunner Caroline Dries, and Berlanti Prods’ Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter.
The actress made claims about an unsafe work environment and accused co star Dougray Scott of being abusive towards women on set.
Ruby Rose opens up about horrific Batwoman experience
Ruby Rose shared a series of posts on her Instagram story discussing her experience on the set of Batwoman. She began by stating:
“Enough is enough, I’m going to let the whole world know what really happened on that set.”
Rose claimed that studio boss Peter Roth made young women steam his pants around his “crotch” whilst he was still wearing them and accused show runner Caroline Dries of having “no heart.”

Eventually, the actress touched on her co-star Dougray Scott and accused him of being abusive towards female staff, claiming that he hurt a female stunt double, yelled “like a little b*tch at women,” and was “a nightmare.”
Rose continued on to state:
“He left when he wanted and arrived when he wanted, he abused women and in turn as a lead of the show I sent an email out asking for a no yelling policy, they declined.”
Who is Dougray Scott?
Dougray Scott is a 55 year-old Scottish actor who played the role of Jacob Kane, Katie Kane’s father, on Batwoman.
He is also recognised for his roles in Ever After, Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, Enigma, Mission: Impossible 2, and Soldier Soldier.
The actor has three children: Twins Eden and Gabriel Trevis Scott with his ex wife Sarah Trevis, and a son names Milo with wife Claire Forlani.
