
Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to react after it was confirmed that two players would miss the trip to Newcastle on Sunday due to COVID-19.
What’s the story?
Well, the Spurs duo – who have not been named – will miss the visit to Tyneside as they have now been forced to isolate (Chronicle).
There have been rumours circulating on Twitter that it may be Heung-min Son and Bryan Gil who have been struck by Coronavirus.
However, at the time of writing, those rumours are unfounded.
Regardless of who the duo are, it’s not exactly what Nuno Espirito Santo will have hoped for as he searches for some consistency at Tottenham.
Spurs will also be without the mystery duo for the UEFA Conference League trip to Vitesse Arnhem.
They could also miss the Premier League clash against West Ham.

Things are far from settled at Hotspur Way right now – there is major disruption as a result of the international break.
As well as the mystery pair, Nuno could also be without Emerson Royal, Cristian Romero, Giovani Lo Celso and Davinson Sanchez.
The South American quartet all played in the early hours of Friday morning, and the Independent believe they will be assessed ahead of kick-off.

They could still feature, although that is a very sharp turnaround and could result in one of the four suffering injuries – if not more.
