According to Calciomercato, Liverpool are now leading the race to sign Noa Lang, as Arsenal prepare a January bid for the Club Brugge forward.
What’s the story?
Well, the 22-year-old is attracting plenty of interest across Europe, and Liverpool have now joined the race for his signature.
It comes after Voetbal24 claimed that Arsenal have €30m (£25m) set aside as they look to submit a bid in January.
That should be enough to do the trick, as Calciomercato state that Club Brugge value Lang at €25m (£21m).
AC Milan have also been following the Dutchman for a long time, but they find themselves behind Liverpool in the race for his services.
Lang’s reputation has grown considerably over the last year.
The Club Brugge No.10 scored 17 goals in 38 appearances last season, while also providing 11 assists.
So far this season, Lang has four goals and five assists in 14 outings, while he also won the Man of the Match award in a 1-1 draw against Paris Saint-Germain, ahead of Lionel Messi, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.
What can Noa Lang offer Liverpool or Arsenal?

Speaking of Neymar, Lang has actually been likened to the Brazilian sensation, and it’s easy to see why.
Just watch him play for 90 minutes, and you’ll notice similarities in their running style, movement and dribbling technique.
It was a comparison made by Lang’s agent, Bart Baving.
Baving told Calciomercato: “Noa is Noa, he has always had this type of playing style. He always works hard and has excellent technique, dribbling and vision. He is also an excellent decision maker and a neat finisher. He is also a generous player, anything but selfish. I’ve heard a lot of people say he looks like Neymar, especially after the PSG match.”
Aside from the tricks and flicks, Lang can also offer Jürgen Klopp or Mikel Arteta options in a number of areas.

Across his 38 appearances last season, the 2-cap Netherlands international played in four different positions across the frontline.
As Transfermarkt shows, Lang played mainly as a left-winger, but was also deployed on the right, and in two different central positions.
Hopefully we get to see Lang in the Premier League soon – the 22-year-old appears to be a tremendous talent.
