Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin’s agent has suggested to Goal that the defender may not play for the Gunners again.

Bellerin joined Real Betis on loan from Arsenal in the summer transfer window.

The 26-year-old is scheduled to stay at the La Liga club until the end of the season.

Bellerin’s agent, Albert Botines, CEO of Goal Management, has said that the Spain international is happy at Betis.

Agent’s revelation

Botines told Goal when asked if Bellerin could join Betis permanently: “It will be possible for sure because he’s really happy.

“But it will depend on many things, especially if they’re going to Champions League or not, because then they would have more budget to afford the permanent transfer.

“But we are not thinking about the summer. He’s focused day by day, he’s happy and he’s focused to make good games again, to show good skills.

“It was a long summer now for him because [it went] until the last day, so that’s why now his focus is game by game.”

Arsenal chapter over for Hector Bellerin

It is really hard to see Bellerin play for Arsenal again.

The Gunners signed Takehiro Tomiyasu from Bologna in the summer transfer window.

Although the Japan international can also play as a central defender, the 22-year-old has established himself as the first-choice right-back at Arsenal.

Bellerin was not at his best for Arsenal for a while, and a parting of the ways made sense.

Now, of course, the 26-year-old has a contract at the Gunners until the summer of 2023.

However, we do not think that Bellerin – who earns £5,720,000 per year (£110,000 per week) as salary, according to Spotrac – will play for Arsenal again.

It is very likely that Arsenal will sell the former Barcelona prospect next summer.
