How many episodes are in season 4?

At the time of writing, season 4 of Little Things is listed as having eight episodes.

The first season consisted of five episodes, ranging between 13 and 17-minutes in duration. However, the series production was extended with both seasons 2 and 3 having eight individual episodes, each with a duration between 22 and 32 minutes in length.

Interestingly, the extension of Little Things’ seasons and episodes has been a source of contention amongst critics. Anvita Singh, writing for The Indian Express, criticised the decision to change episode format and explained the title works better as a shorter, limited series.

“Netflix’s Little Things Season 2 is a series that would have worked better if it had four episodes of 15 minutes each, instead of the eight episodes, each over 22 minutes long. Some things just work better if they are shorter. And I believe it would have said things much more effectively.” – Avita Singh, via The Indian Express.

How has the series been rated so far?

Aside from the previously mentioned criticism about the episode length, Little Things has experienced a fantastic reception from both fans and critics alike since debuting in October 2016.

The first season was aired on Dice Media’s YouTube channel and at the time of writing, has been viewed more than 1.2 billion times!

“Little Things is a show that is very close to my heart. Kavya is a character that is going to stay with me forever. It’s been an incredible journey with Dhruv, my directors and the fabulous crew.” – Mithila Palkar, via The Hindustan Times.

The series moved to a Netflix release with season 2 and unfortunately, the streaming platform does not reveal their official viewership statistics for most of their titles. However, Little Things is scoring an impressive 8.3/10 on IMDB and 4.6/5 on Google Reviews.

The incredible performances from the main cast are one of the main reasons why the series has consistently won awards. This includes Mithila Palkar winning the Best Actress in a Comedy Series and Dhruv Sehgal winning the Critics Best Actor in a Comedy Series at the 2020 Filmfare OTT awards.

“My bond with Little Things is very special, it’s not only a show that I wrote or played a character I love, but this show is also my baby. I have grown with this show and the amount of love it has received over the years has really overwhelmed me.” – Dhruv Sehgal, via The Hindustan Times.
