Only Murders in the Building finale plot
**Warning – Spoilers ahead**
Only Murders in the Building episode 10, titled ‘Open and Shut,’ will pick up straight after the events of the previous episode.
It is thought that Oliver and Mabel will find more pieces of evidence to prove Jan’s involvement in Tim’s murder. This could result in their attempt to save Charles from her.
The finale will also see Charles’ departure from the podcast through – leaving to protect his relationship with Jan – but now that he knows Jan’s been lying to him, he will most likely return.
Aside from naming Tim’s killer – which is likely Jan – the season finale will also set up what’s in store for Charles, Mabel, and Oliver in the future.
Will Only Murders in the Building return for season 2?
According to the show’s companion podcast, Only Murders in the Pod, Only Murders in the Building has already been greenlit for season 2 and is expected to revolve around a different case.
This means that the trio could depart the Arconia at the end of season one, in order to embark on a new case to solve.
