Is Demon Slayer Hinokami Chronicles multiplayer?
There is multiplayer for Demon Slayer Hinokami Chronicles courtesy of its versus mode.
Versus mode is basically where you fight against one other player in action similar to Dragon Ball FighterZ. It has numerous arenas and playable characters available, and the combat is incredibly stylish and colourful.
You will only be able to compete against one other player, and you will need a PS Plus subscription for PlayStation.
Does Demon Slayer Hinokami Chronicles have cross platform multiplayer?
SEGA has not announced crossplay or cross platform multiplayer for Demon Slayer Hinokami Chronicles.
However, the feature doesn’t appear to be in the game as it’s not amongst the listed tags on Steam and the Microsoft store. Both platforms typically tag cross platform action when it’s included, so its absence suggests that you cannot play across PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
Although the lack of crossplay is disappointing, the good news is that the game does support couch/local PvP action.
This means that you will be able to fight against a friend in two-player combat from the same Xbox console/PC. It’s fantastic news as it means you both won’t need to buy the game to enjoy versus mode together.
