Lala Anthony has spoken about her divorce from her estranged husband Carmelo Anthony for the first time. Here’s what we know of Carmelo’s tumultuous relationship with the American TV personality as we take a look at their kid and family.
In an interview with Power 105.1’s Angie Martinez, Carmelo broke her silence on divorce from the NBA star, as she stated the reasons that led to their split and why she chose to remain mum about it.
How many kids does Carmelo Anthony have?
Carmelo shares a son with Lala. They have named him Kiyan Carmelo Anthony.
However, before Lala and Carmelo’s divorce was made public, a 38-year-old woman had claimed that Carmelo was allegedly the father of her twins.
This was first reported by Hollywood Unlocked and the report suggests the woman did not want to identify herself.
Reportedly, she also alleged that Carmelo had made plans with her while being married to Lala. However, Carmelo himself hasn’t addressed these allegations and even Lala hasn’t spoken about them.
Neither is there a report that has confirmed these allegations.

During the interview when asked why it took her so long to address her divorce, Lala said, “It was bad because there were other people involved. It was bad because there was a complaint. It got worse.”
She also added, “For many, this one feels like a new one, as it’s been years since we separated.”
“So I dealt with the emotions behind it, and I’m still I have my moment, but most of the time I can talk about it now, laugh about it and find humor in it all, the former TV host said.
