Gary Lineker has taken to Twitter to send a message to Trent Alexander-Arnold, on the Liverpool star’s 23rd birthday.
What’s the story?
Well, Mundial posted footage showing Alexander-Arnold’s famous corner against Barcelona, which Lineker couldn’t help but eulogise over.
The BBC Match of the Day host described the corner as one of the best things he’s ever witnessed on a football pitch, which is some statement.
Lineker has seen it all, so that speaks volumes.
You can see his tweet in full below.
In our view, as much as Lineker showers Alexander-Arnold in praise, he still hasn’t done the corner justice – it was just sheer genius.
For a played aged just 21 – at the time of the 4-0 win – to do something like that, on a stage like that, is simply remarkable.
At his age, it was arguably a big deal for Alexander-Arnold to be taking corners in a Champions League semi-final, let alone assisting from one like that!
Trent Alexander-Arnold could become an all-time great at Liverpool

How is Alexander-Arnold only 23? It feels like he’s been around for ages.
Liverpool’s No.66 has already racked up 185 appearances for the Reds, and has earned 14 caps for England as well.
Alexander-Arnold has appeared at the World Cup too, while he has also won the Premier League and Champions League.
What he’s doing simply isn’t normal.

At this rate, who knows what the £180,000-a-week man’s haul will look like once he retires.
Given how fast his career has started, there’s every chance Alexander-Arnold will retire as a legend of the game.
He is already the best right-back in Europe, and his consistency levels are quite unbelievable – he’s heading right to the very summit of the game.
