Twitch, an entertainment platform predominantly used for live streaming gaming content, suffered a huge data leak on October 6th.

The data breach resulted in the earnings of the site’s highest paid streamers being leaked and CriticalRole came out top of the list.

Twitch suffers huge data leak

Twitch suffered a data breach this morning, which has resulted in the gross earnings that some of the most popular channels on Twitch amassed through August 2019 and October 2021 being leaked.

Twitch later confirmed the data breach on Twitter, stating:

“We can confirm a breach has taken place. Our teams are working with urgency to understand the extent of this.”

They continued on to say: “We will update the community as soon as additional information is available. Thank you for bearing with us.”

Who are the top 100 streamers on Twitch?

A spreadsheet which shows which streamers have earned the most from the platform has been circulating on Twitter after a user uploaded a 125GB torrent link containing the data on 4chan.

CriticalRole has earned the most out of all channels on Twitch, raking in a whopping $9,626,712, followed by xQc with $8,454,427.

After that is Summit1g, then Tfue, NICKMERCS, Ludwig, TimTheTatman, Altoar, Auronplay, Lirik, _unknown_, Gaules, HasanAbi, Asmongold, and loltyler1. You can see the list here.
