It’s officially spooky season and that only means one thing – the trailer for 2022’s Scream movie is fast approaching.

This instalment will follow a woman returning to her home town in an attempt to find out who has been committing a series of vicious crimes that have been linked to Ghostface.

What social media platforms is the Scream emoji available on?

At the moment the official Scream emoji can only be used on Twitter. Users can find the Scream emoji by typing the hashtag #Scream where Ghostface will appear.

Unfortunately, the emoji is not currently available on Facebook and Instagram.

However, the knife emoji and blood drop emojis can be used by fans when speaking about the upcoming Scream movie on social media platforms other than Twitter.

Who will star in Scream?

It has been confirmed that scream queen, Neve Campbell who plays Sidney Prescott will be returning to our screens, alongside David Arquette who portrays Deputy Dwight ‘Dewey’ Riley in the Scream series.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, David Arquette said: “I am thrilled to be playing Dewey again and to reunite with my Scream family, old and new. Scream has been such a big part of my life, and for both the fans and myself, I look forward to honouring Wes Craven’s legacy.”

Arquette’s ex-wife, Courteney Cox will also reprise her role as Gale Weathers. But, what has got fans even more excited is that Roger L. Jackson will return as the voice of Ghostface.
