The new PS Now October 2021 free games have partly been confirmed and leaked ahead of the release date for this month’s PlayStation Plus offerings.

The fresh additions for September included Tekken 7, Killing Floor 2, Final Fantasy VII, and Windbound. All of these were leaked expect for Square Enix’s 1997 classic, and a similar pattern has occurred for this month of all things spooky and wicked.

Sony’s announcement should happen later today, but fans can already anticipate an additional Final Fantasy masterpiece.

What are the new PS Now October 2021 free games?

One of the confirmed new PS Now October 2021 free games is Final Fantasy VIII.

Below is the other leaked additions:

  • The Last of Us Part II
  • Desperados III
  • Fallout 76
  • Yet Another Zombie Defence HD

There should be more additions, but the above have been leaked through a partial screenshot shared on Reddit. This doesn’t mean they’re official, but it’s what we have to go on so far.

Sony should announce the additions on October 4th as they usually reveal the new line-up a day before the fresh PS Plus freebies arrive.

How much does PlayStation Now cost?

It costs either £8.99 per month, £22.99 every three months, or £49.99 every year.

If you haven’t subscribed before, you can enjoy a seven day trial. However, if you don’t enjoy the free sample, make sure to disable your subscription in settings as you will be set up with an automatic renewal.

The release date for the new PS Plus and PlayStation Now free games is October 5th, 2021.
