The release time for Mushoku Tensei’s return has been confirmed, but is the upcoming broadcast season 2 episode 1 or a continuation of season 1?
Takt op Destiny, Platinum End, Faraway Paladin and Mieruko-chan are some of the brand new anime series making their debut on the Fall broadcasting slate.
However, we have a feeling that the slate will be dominated by the returning series such as 86 Eighty-Six, Yashahime, Demon Slayer and of course, Mushoku Tensei.
The latter series is an anime adaptation of Rifujin na Magonote from Studio Bind and premiered back in January of this year.
Now, fans around the world are counting down the minutes to the series’ return, with the release time for episode 12 being confirmed online!
How to watch Mushoku Tensei…
In Japan, Mushoku Tensei is being broadcast on the Tokyo MX, KBS, BS11 and SUN television networks.
Internationally, the anime is only being simulcast through the Funimation streaming platform, so fans shouldn’t expect the title to be available via other sites such as Crunchyroll.
Funimation will stream new episodes one week early for premium users, with a subscription currently costing just £4.99 a month.
Season 2 is technically season 1 Part 2…
Whilst Mushoku Tensei is returning for new episodes, there has been some considerable confusion online as to whether the new broadcast would be season 1 part 2 or season 2.
Episode 12 of Mushoku Tensei is technically the beginning of season 1 part 2, which was originally meant to launch in July 2021 on the Summer slate, before “various circumstances” forced a one-cour delay.
However, it appears that the vast majority of fans are considering the upcoming broadcast as a second season, encouraged by various trailers from Anime Hype and JP Anime incorrectly labelling their videos.
