What is the BBC show about?

Following the lead of Bloom’s novel, Ridley Road was inspired by the endeavor of the 62 Group – a band of anti-fascists who took a stand against neo-Nazism in post-war Britain.

The 1962 narrative will be told from the point of view of Jewish woman Vivien Epstein (O’Casey), who aims to pursue a romance in East London after the death of her father.

Vivien becomes involved in the anti-fascist movement after getting a job at a hair salon and becomes the one to infiltrate a neo-Nazi group orchestrated by Colin Jordan.
