Nuno has talked up Tottenham Hotspur youngster Dane Scarlett as an ‘enormous talent’, on the club’s official website.
Exciting prospect
Scarlett was given his chance to start for Tottenham against Mura in the Conference League yesterday.
Although the teenager was unable to get on the scoresheet, he didn’t look out of place in the team.
Scarlett was ultimately subbed off before Tottenham secured the three points, but they were 2-1 up at the point when he was withdrawn.
And Nuno certainly sounds impressed by what he has seen from the Tottenham striker.
“He played very good,” Nuno said. “He is an enormous talent. It was important for him to start the game and have this feeling and worked very hard.
“The chances and goals will come because he’s very talented.”

Scarlett impressing all managers
Jose Mourinho also raved about Scarlett’s talents during his time in charge of Tottenham and it seems only a matter of time before he does make the breakthrough.
The 17-year-old is regarded as being the pick of Spurs’ youth players, with a fairly exciting bunch of prospects breaking through currently.
Scarlett has now been training with Tottenham’s first-team for well over a year.
He has limited game-time and is yet to score, but with plenty more Conference League games scheduled he could get more chances in the foreseeable future.
