Joe Rogan shared a video on Instagram titled ‘Freedom’ in which he shared his thoughts about the Covid-19 requirements and vaccine regulations.
The controversial podcaster posted the fan-made video on his social media channels on Monday, September 27th.
Joe Rogan shares ‘Freedom’ video
The clip features voiceover from a recent episode of Joe’s podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, alongside different stock images and short clips of American flags and marching Nazis.
Joe says in the video: “As soon as you give politicians power, any kind of power that didn’t exist previously, if they can figure out a way to force you into carrying something that lets you enter businesses or lets you do this or lets businesses open, historically, they are not gonna give that power up.
“They find new reasons to use it. We have to protect those freedoms at all cost, whether you agree with people’s choices or not, because it is the foundation that this country was founded on: freedom.”
The podcaster also explains why he believes freedom is so important in the United States and says: “It is the literal structure that allows this country to be so f*****g amazing. Anything that comes along that can inhibit your freedom is, by definition, anti-American.”
People react to the video
The video has received mixed reactions from social media users.
“Take it from an Australian you don’t want what is happening here,” commented one user on Instagram.
“How a single soul can be triggered by this video is baffling to me,” wrote another one. “If [you] wanna give up [your] freedom let me know how it turns out for you but I’m keeping mine.”
“Yes you have a freedom to chose not to get vaccinated but don’t have freedom to get other people sick! Also you have a freedom to take Horse dewormer but don’t have freedom to chose offer medical advice since you are not a doctor. Get it?” wrote someone else on Twitter.
The montage was made by video creator Samuel Rivera.
On his Instagram bio, Samuel writes: “We create videos that help entrepreneurs and businesses tell their story.”
The creator has shared other clips with Joe Rogan’s voiceover from previous podcast episodes and a series of other motivational videos.
Samuel is on Instagram under the handle @samuelriverafilms.
Other Joe Rogan news
Joe, who hasn’t revealed if he’s been vaccinated yet, tested positive for COVID-19 in early September this year.
The podcaster said at the time: “I got back from the road Saturday night feeling very weary. I had a headache. I felt just run down. Just to be cautious, I separated from my family, slept in a different part of the house and throughout the night I got fevers and sweats and I knew what was going on.”
